The Facebook Android app is the most downloaded free Android app from Google Playstore in Nepal. No doubt, Facebook is the most visited site in the country. Recent Facebook data reveal, there are 3 Million Facebook users in Nepal, including 2 Million male users and 1 Million female users. Among them 740,000 users have accessed Facebook from Android device.
Viber and Skype are still the king, though a dozen of chat apps including Line, WeChat, WhatsApp are available in the Google Playstore. Viber is the second most downloaded android app. The Nepal Load Shedding app has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. CashOnAd app that was launched a week ago has become popular among the Android phone users. Swiftkey is the most downloaded Paid Android app from Google Playstore in Nepal.
